People's anti-war movement calls for an international investigation into the war crimes of the army of the Russian Federation and to recognize as genocide the brutal executions and murders of civilians in Ukraine in the temporarily occupied Russian military territories.
After the withdrawal of Russian troops from the capital of Ukraine, shocking footage appeared before the entire civilized world: the mutilated corpses of civilians lying on the streets of provincial cities, among which there are many women and children - they are not bloodthirsty Bendera and neo-Nazis.
This is the true face of the Kremlin dictator's war. The war is not against the armed forces of Ukraine but against each of its citizens. The previously unknown town of Bucha, located 30 km from Kyiv, gained notorious popularity in just a few days, as did the Yugoslavia Srebrenica in 1995, where the largest massacre of civilians in Europe since the end of World War II was committed.
Shocking footage of the atrocities of Russian soldiers quickly spread around the world's leading media. The fact of genocide against the Ukrainian people is on the face, and it is impossible not to recognize it.
From the very first days, the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territories was a war crime. Every day, this war took the lives of not only Ukrainian defenders but also innocent civilians. Terrible footage from the captured Ukrainian cities and villages is indisputable evidence of the targeted destruction of the Ukrainian people by the Russian army.
What in Russia is called a special military operation to liberate Donbas for the Ukrainian population turned out to be a real war and genocide. This war is not against Ukraine but against the entire civilized world. It is unacceptable to use the term "statute of limitations" for this crime; it must be investigated and the perpetrators brought to justice.
All Russian military, regardless of rank, who participated in the brutal massacre of the civilian population must be identified and held accountable under international law.
We call on all civilized states to use all available political instruments and levers of pressure to end the war and destroy the people of Ukraine. It is evident to us that the governments of the leading European powers have no moral right to risk the health and lives of their service members.
However, in the situation of the ongoing extermination of the Ukrainian people, you must sacrifice your economy. You can not put money and economic indicators on the scales where people's lives are on the opposite side.
We call for the immediate termination of trade cooperation with the aggressor country, the imposition of an embargo on the purchase of Russian energy resources and the provision of modern weapons, ammunition and fuel to Ukraine.
