In the last days of February of this year, Putin, with the full support of the Russian Security Council, launched hostilities against Ukraine. The whole world is sure that this crime is committed not only by the Russian authorities but by all Russians.
All citizens of the Russian Federation, regardless of the type of activity, against their will, became indirect accomplices in war crimes committed against the Ukrainian people. Now, we have no moral right to remain silent and be passive.
Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers laid down their lives in the fight against fascism, and the current generation should be ashamed of participating in the war of conquest. It is logical that you are its supporter if you do not oppose such a war.
The Anti-war movement is guided by a simple but fundamental principle for each of us. There is a clear understanding that there are Russians who support the aggressive policy of the Kremlin, and there are those who have become hostages of the Kremlin's adventures.
Each of us is morally responsible for not preventing a war, for allowing a treacherous attack by the Russian army on a neighbouring state.
However, the direct participants in the invasion - the highest military and political leadership of the country must be called, as they should be, namely, war criminals. All of them must fully answer for the crimes committed against the Ukrainian people, for which there should be no statute of limitations.
